Travelers Insurance – Recent System Upgrade Update
August 20, 2026
Travelers did a billing system update over Memorial Weekend, it was all supposed to be good to go May 26th when we were back in the office. Needless to say, there have been some hiccups. Unfortunately, I don’t know which accounts have been affected until I get these inquiries. The company is actively working to get these resolved and I apologize for the differences between the months.
If you are not seeing installments being drafted from your bank account for the regularly scheduled June/ July or August payments you can call our office with payment details, we can get those manually applied for you.
Let us know how you prefer to proceed & again apologies for the billing discrepancies.
We are all working diligently to get this resolved for you.
Recent System Upgrade Update
As we previously shared, we recently upgraded our payment and billing system. We know this may have caused unexpected disruptions for you, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
- You do not need to take any action. Your policy remains in good standing, and you do not need to contact us unless you have an urgent coverage need.
- Your coverage is active. Coverage remains in effect for impacted customers as a result of the migration to the new billing system.
- What you’re experiencing is temporary. If you’re seeing an incorrect status change, an unexpected balance, missing payment history or other account discrepancies in MyTravelers®, these are display issues only and not a reflection of your actual policy or payment status.
- There is no adverse financial impact to you. If your payment was processed on a different date than expected, this was a result of the upgrade and no late fees or additional service charges will be applied. This will not affect your credit or your relationship with Travelers.
- We expect your account view to be fully corrected shortly. We’re working diligently to complete this upgrade and will send you an update once this has been resolved.
You can still use MyTravelers® for self-service:
- Access your policy documents and auto ID cards
- Make changes to your policy and add or remove a vehicle or driver
- Download proof of insurance
Again, no action is required on your part, but we are here if you have questions. If you would like to speak to someone directly, contact your agent.
Thank you for your patience and trust in Travelers. We are committed to making things right.
